SCBWI-LA Schmoozes

For the annual May 2006 Critique Schmooze, Stephanie Brown and Ken Min came up with a fun project: illustrating Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories.* Artists from the SCBWI-LA San Fernando Valley and Westside Illustrator Schmoozes were challenged to illustrate scenes from the twelve fantastic tales. *The Just So Stories for Little Children were written by British author Rudyard Kipling. They are highly fanticised origin stories and are among his best known, and arguably best, works. The stories, first published in 1902, are fantastic accounts of how various natural phenomena came about.
