THE GUIDELINES

• To join the SCBWI-Los Angeles listserv, you must be a member in good standing of SCBWI.

• Postings must be relevant to the topic of children's book and magazine publishing and must demonstrate respect for all other members and their opinions.

• All aspects of writing and illustrating children’s book are great topics for discussion. Including the business of being an author or illustrator; marketing; school visits; book-talks; conferences and workshops.

• If you have any recent successes by all means post an announcement and share the good news with the group.

• It is also the place where you can find support for those times when rejection letters take their toll.

• This is not a writers' critique group. Though you may meet and become critique friends with others on the list, the list itself is not intended to serve as a writer's workshop.
