This is an event to spawn creativity in a tranquil, natural setting. El Dorado Park Nature Center in Long Beach is lush with trees, trails and the occasional bunny and squirrels playing tag. Several lakes and streams with fish, turtles, ducks and the sounds of the birds. The ideal place to sit awhile and sketch, write, and come up with a lovely children’s story… So join us, writers and illustrators alike, and enjoy

A “Midsummer’s Day Schmooze” – creative writing and quick sketch day at El Dorado Park – Nature Center… (Long Beach)

10:30 – 11:30 – session 1 (write or illustrate, inspired from something in the park)

11:30 – 12:30 – session 2 (team up writers and illustrators, and elaborate)

Picnic at your leisure…
